"We have for a goal to co-ordinate the annual Red Deer River and Piper-Waskasoo Creek Clean-up, encourage active participation and sponsorship within the community of Red Deer, and increase awareness and understanding towards the river and its riparian area through education by building long-term stewardship of the river and its tributaries within Red Deer and co-operating with groups having a related interest inor der to extend the Clean-up beyond the borders of our community."
